Xadrez postal
Xadrez Postal (ou Epistolar) é uma modalidade de enxadrismo que é praticada por meio de correspondência, entre enxadristas localizandos em pontos distantes do globo, utilizando-se normalmente cartões postais.
No xadrez postal é utilizada um tipo especial de notação de partidas denominado Notação Postal. A principal entidade em nÃvel mundial dedicada a esta modalidade de enxadrismo é a International Correspondence Chess Federation (ICCF). No Brasil, a principal organização é o Clube de Xadrez Epistolar Brasileiro (CXEB), fundado 1964, na cidade do Rio de Janeiro.
