In english the name is written Go
Go
Go je desková hra pro dva hráče pocházející z Číny, kde se nazývá Weichi. Vznikla někdy ve 2. tisíciletí př.n.l. Velmi rozšířená je i v Korei (pod názvem Baduk) a hlavně Japonsku, odkud se dostala i k nám. Hraje se obvykle na desce 19×19 průsečíků. Pro výuku a rychlé partie se používají i menší desky – například 13×13 nebo 9×9.
