FICGS é uma organização em franco crescimento, composta por uma comunidade de jogadores e um servidor internacional de partidas de Xadrez por correspôndencia. Aqui podes jogar xadrez na internet, de forma gratuita em torneios a contarem para elo, matches de 2 jogadores ou no unico Campeonato Mundial de Xadrez por Correspôndencia a ser disputado por várias eliminatórias. O vencedor joga com o actual campeão num match de 12 partidas.
Tambem organizamos eventos especiais, torneios temáticos, xadrez 960, big chess, e torneios com prémios monetários. Vê nas listas de espera (waiting lists).
Por ultimo no Ficgs, podes jogar torneios de Go e um campeonato mundial.
Como o Go será o ultimo jogo onde os computadores dominarão, pelo menos não nas proximas décadas, joga este fascinante e complexo jogo no FICGS.
