Vasik Rajlich, a Czech-American (born in Cleveland, Ohio in the United States of America to Czech parents, at that time graduate students; grew up in Prague, but later spent many years in the United States, studying and working), is the author of Rybka, the strongest publicly-available chess playing program in 2006 for single-core or multi-core Intel or AMD CPUs as measured by competition against other chess programs. At the present he lives with his wife Iweta (nee Radziewicz) in Budapest, Hungary. They both hold the title of International Master.
