FICGS big chess standard tournaments are rated single round-robin tournaments, involving 7 players or 2 games matches involving 2 players (on the website only). Entry fees are E-Points that you can buy in 'My account'. Read carefully terms and conditions, particularly Entry fees & Prize money sections before to play tournaments with entry fees.

FICGS big chess is not chess, it is a chess variant played on a chessboard 16 x 16. Coordinates are a1 to q16 (no letter i). Please use only 'xy-xy' notation generated by the graphical interface. The special rule is no castling is possible. See rules for more information.

All games are played in 30 days + 1 day / move. Norms are not possible.


If there's a prize :

Round-robin tournaments - In case of equality, the prize is equally shared by the winners.

2 games matches - The prize for each game is half the total prize. In case of a draw, the prize is divided, however player Black will fully get back his E-points whereas player White will get the rest.
