Why Bing ?

This is a quite strange question at a first sight but the name of the new search engine by Microsoft is really weird, "Bing" after "MSN search", "Live" and "Kumo".
Microsoft should spend more than 80 million dollars to promote the new search engine in the United States according to AdAge, but the name is really awful in my humble opinion.
The idea is obviously to make this new search engine different from Google by presenting more multimedia content instead of text only. It has been noticed very quickly that the search engines could become easily a porn site just by searching the word "sex" in the videos category because of the presence of sites looking like Youporn in the results. You just have to change a security option.
Now we will see if the famous company created by Bill Gates is ready to be a serious concurrent for Google that still dominates the search engines market.

La question "pourquoi Bing ?" peut paraître étrange à première vue, mais le nom du nouveau moteur de recherche de Microsoft est vraiment étrange : "Bing", après "MSN search", "Live" et "Kumo".
Microsoft devrait dépenser pas moins de 80 millions de dollars pour promouvoir son nouveau moteur de recherche aux Etats-Unis selon AdAge, mais le nom reste vraiment douteux à mon avis.
L'idée est visiblement d'en faire un moteur doté de plus de fonctionnalités de recherche multimédia que Google, il a d'ailleurs été noté le jour même que l'on pouvait faire du site de recherche un véritable site vidéo pornographique simplement en recherchant le mot "sex" dans les vidéos à cause de la présence dans les résultats de sites ressemblant au célèbre Youporn, autrement dit la version adaptée de Youtube. Il faut tout de même changer une option de sécurité pour voir ces résultats.
Nous verrons donc si la célèbre compagnie de Bill Gates est prête à concurrencer Google, toujours largement numéro 1 sur le marché des moteurs de recherche, avec ce genre d'innovations (si j'ose dire).
