Target problem

Hello,

Theorically the Target HTML tag could be used this way in :

"_blank" opens a new window (popup)
"_self" opens the document in the frame
"_top" opens the document in the same window
"_parent" opens the document in the parent window

Used this way :

<a href="url" target="_top">


My question is does it work the same way in all browsers, IE7 / Mozilla Firefox / Google Chrome / Opera ? I've noticed a problem when using an <object data="url">
