How to change the frequency in the BIOS

Hello, here my problem, my new Acer computer has a processor Intel i7-860 which I would like to accelerate, but I do not find the parameter which makes it possible to do that in the BIOS, it seems that mine is attached to prevent that I can change the frequency and the voltage of the processor. Does my old computer have well these options, you know why the manufacturer removed these options on more recent computers?

You know if there is a means of circumventing this problem?  One can change the software of the BIOS?  There are risks by making this kind of handling?
