Back to problems Daniel Khayman (2007-01-19 20:38:20) khayman - juan munoz ChessPosition (see diagram) What we have here is another gem by the incessant khayman, once again playing juan munoz but with reversed colours (this guy must be an inspiration for me:-). I'm a pawn down but have a very aggressive position; however, black's fortress seems unconquerable so our hero needs a "coupe" and he finds it but he has to continue with accuracy otherwise his "!!" move would have been in vane. In other words, still 2 consecutive moves to make up the combination which kills black's resistance.
Thibault de Vassal (2007-01-19 21:30:35) Easy ? Instantly thinking about 1.Txf5 exf5 2.e6 .. seems there's nothing else interesting, right ? Daniel Khayman (2007-01-20 01:16:19) Juan Munoz - Khayman yep, very easy! sorry for boring you Thibault de Vassal (2007-01-20 11:55:36) Easy does not mean boring :) Thank you for these problems !
