Diagnosing and fixing the most general bike noises needs beginner to transitional level knowledge of bike constituents and how they function. If you're not confident in fixing something, take the bike to a service local shop. Bike noises for example squeaks, creaks, and squeals, clicks are a bit irritating when you're riding: they might indicate a grave dilemma that, left unsettled, would result in harming you and your bike. Finding the origin can be tricky. Try your best to spot it or use carbon fiber bike parts, then removing the problem won't be an issue.
A clicking noise frequently comes from the chain jumping up or down the gear on rear cassette. This can naturally be attached by fine-tuning the cable tension that runs from the shifter to back derailleur. Depending on the bike style, there may be barrel adjusters situated on the shifters of carbon cycling wheels, cables and near your rear derailleur. Utilize the adjusters to tweak the chain tension by 1/4th turn. Do it clockwise if the chain falls into a minute cog. Turn this adjuster anti-clockwise if chain wouldn't shift up to the bigger cog. If the barrel adjuster gets a full turn and the problem isn't solved, see a cycle technician. Bent derailleur hanger may be a cause.
A high-pitched chain requires to be lubed. Do it by placing your bike in a stand or leaning it alongside a wall with its drive-train facing you, thus the pedals spin liberally. Drip a lube drop on every chain link as you keep pedaling backwards and turn your disc brake road wheels to fit in the lube. Before your subsequent ride, wipe off any surplus lube with a spotless rag employing the same position while pedaling backwards. If that chain is totally rusty or has rigid links, take it to the bike shop and have it replaced.
