Water leakage is something which is found everywhere around the corners. It actually takes a lot of hours for testing any sought of machines. In our running days, we find all different kinds of leaks. Some are the kinds of leaks which can flood your home and there are some which are not so severe in causing damage.
There are different types of water line leaks found. They are:-
• Faucet, shower and tub leaks
• Whole house leaks
• Toilet leaks
• Pool and fountain leaks
For stopping such a problem, it totally depends on the type of leak it is. If the leak is found in the pipe or in the line, then just remove the section which is leaking and replace it with another one. It sounds so easy but it is extremely hard for the person who does it.

• In case of repairing a leak in the water line, you can use a hose clamp with a rubber patch.
• There is availability of patch kits in the hardware store and a quick and easy way to stop a leak is the patch kit which can be used on a permanent basis.
• Some other easy temporary measures for stopping a leak include the wrapping waterproof tape over the affected spot area. But when you are using the waterproof tape, make sure that the pipe is dry enough when you start wrapping.
Dripping of water doesn’t mean a leak. Sometimes there is so much of water dripping you will come to know that there is a leakage in the line which needs a repairing. On examining you will notice a sweating and not a leak. For this there are several types of self-adhesive thick "drip" tape are designed
You will even find water line leak repair between the meter and home. These leaks are often difficult to notice as the pipe is buried at least 3 feet below the ground. These leaks are found from the lines which lead to the main and are the responsibility of the water utility. Thus the water utility should be contacted before doing any repair. This repair should not be done by a homeowner.
There are many leaks which go undetected for years because the source of the leak is not visible. Therefore right person should be selected to repair the water line leak.
