SEO question: rank for own name

Hi all,
Just wondering who is a SEO and ranks for the own name, I know it is pretty stupid but it has been a weird obsession I have to dominate the whole top 10 keywords for my name on Google, I currently have 9/10 just one other guy is out ranking me!!! even has his site up to PR3 and highly optimized for my name keyword hehe..
Has any one else done something similar or am I just crazy with SEO haha...
Name based SEO has been a specialty of mine for quite a while, a few clients I work on even face the problem of negative PR for their names and I have had to come up with advanced strategy to move down nagive listings in SE's.

The best way is to focus on high traffic keywords if you have the budget to do that. 6 months would be ok to work full time on just that. A high competitive keyword is a lot of hard work.
