Problème CSS div valign="top"

Bonjour à tous, voici mon problème :

Je voudrais aligner des images et un petit texte sur une seule ligne dans la balise <div></div> mais il se trouve que le texte apparait toujours plus bas que les images. J'ai tenté un <div valign="top"> et un <div style="vertical-align: top"> mais rien n'y fait.

Après avoir un peu tatonné, j'ai fini par essayer d'inclure style="vertical-align: bottom" dans les balises de chacune des images et là ça marche (contrairement à valign="bottom") mais je préfererai trouver un moyen de ne changer que le paramètre de <div> ...

Quelqu'un a une idée ?
