Panasonic HDC-TM700 Low Light Performance-Adjust Brightness

Panasonic had announced HDC-HS700, HDC-TM700, HDC-SD700 and HDC-SD500 with perfect video shooting functions. The POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilization) is to make perfect video even with hand-shake. The wide-angle lens makes it easy to take a group photo, and the equipped microphones record 5.1-ch Dolby Digital audio.

Here we focus on the low-light performance for Panasonic HDC-TM700.

The advanced 3MOS Sensor provides 7.59 million effective motion image pixels and reduces light loss compared to the 1MOS sensor. The 3MOS sensor will give you bright images even in low-light situations. Besides the 3MOS sensor, the new Crystal Engine PRO and new Noise Reduction (NR) Technology will help taking sharp and bright videos and images in low lighting conditions. You may find the difference between the brightness below.

When taking Panasonic HDC-TM700, you may notice the iA function, which is the short term for Intelligent Auto. When iA is on, the camcorder will detect the target situation and switch the scene mode automatically with the Intelligent Scene Selector. When the excessive brightness produces blown highlights in other camcorder, the iA on Panasonic TM700 will help you capture perfect motions and images. There is also Intelligent Contrast Control to prevent blown highlights and blocked shadows with face detection technology.

While the AVCHD camcorder provides so much for handling excellent images or videos, the bundled software HD Writer AE for Windows does not include the functions to adjust video brightness. In the very few cases when the camcorder does not provide good performance in low light or contrast, you can use Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter to adjust AVCHD video brightness.

With Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter, you just need to import the .mts or .m2ts videos from directory like AVCHD > BDMV > STREAM after clicking the Add button on the converter. Then click the Editor button and go to Effect tab for changing the brightness and contrast.
