How to rip DVD and convert video to iPad

Way 1: DVD Decrypter + iPad Converter for Windows

You can download DVD Decrypter from here: ht*p://www.apollodownload.com/download/SetupDVDDecrypter_3.5.4.0.exe, download Videora iPad Converter from here: ht*p://www.apollodownload.com/download/videora-ipad-600-setup.exe.

Part 1: Rip DVD movies to hard drive
Step 1: Launch the DVD Decrypter software, place the DVD you want to rip your video from into your DVD drive.

Step 2: Go to the Mode menu and select IFO I mode. This will give you access to two new tabs; Input & Stream Processing.

Step 3: Go to the Tools menu, select Settings, go to the IFO tab, then under Options, change File Splitting to None and press OK.

Step 4: Go to the main screen and click the Stream Processing tab. Enable it and only select the first video listed. Note that home encoded movies do not support subtitles of any kind and that your file can only have one type of audio.

Step 5: Before you begin ripping your video, note the destination of the video file. This is where your raw DVD rip is going to go and it will be rather large in size. If you want to change the directory that DVD Decrypter will output to, click on the Browse button and navigate to the folder you want and press OK.

Now that you know where the movie file is going, click on the Decrypt button to start decrypting the DVD to your hard drive.

Once it is done, close DVD Decrypter. Expect a 4 GB to 6 GB movie to take about 12 to 18 minutes.

Part 2: Convert the file that you ripped using DVD Decrypter like you would any other video file
Step 1: Run Videora iPad Converter.

Step 2: Click the Convert -> Video File tab on the left.

Step 3: Mode Selection.
Videora iPad Converter has two ways of converting videos, though Normal Mode, which can only be used when an internet connection is present, and through Power Mode, which can be used when both online or offline.
As explained in the screenshot, Normal Mode is for users that don't understand technical jargon and want an easy way to convert videos. On the other hand, Power Mode is for users who understand acronyms like MPEG-4, H.264, QVGA, VGA, Kbps, terms like 1 Pass, 2 Pass, AviSynth and want the ability to change every possible video conversion setting.

Click on the "Normal Mode" box.

Select Video - Follow the directions provided in the in-program help guide. Once you have selected your file, you will be automatically taken to the next screenshot.
Select Output Folder - Follow the directions provided in the in-program help guide. Once you have chosen your output folder location, click the "Next" button [Purple Box] in the in-program help guide. Once you click the "Next" button, you will be taken to the next screenshot.
Select Title - Follow the directions provided in the in-program help guide. Once you have chosen your video title, click the "Next" button [Purple Box] in the in-program help guide. Once you click the "Next" button, you will be taken to the next screenshot.

Step 4: Start Converting - Follow the directions provided in the in-program help guide.

Once the conversion is complete, the video will be automatically added to iTunes. To place the video on your iPad, simply sync your iPad with iTunes.

Way 2: DVD to iPad Converter + Video to iPad Converter

Part 1: Rip DVD movies to iPad

Step 1: Click the Load DVD button to add you want to rip DVD.
Step 2: Choose the output format from the "Profile" pull-down menu, find what your player supporting format or the devices.
Step 3: Click the "Start" to rip your DVD.

Part 2: Convert video to iPad

Step 1: Click the Add File button to add you want to convert video files.
Step 2: Choose the output format from the "Profile" Column.
Step 3: Click the "Start" button to convert your video to iPad.

Way 3: DVD to iPad Suite

Download DVD to iPad Suite from here: ht*p://www.apollodownload.com/download/dvd-to-ipad-suite.exe.

Step 1: Download and run the DVD to iPad Suite.
Step 2: click "DVD to iPad Converter" on the main interface to rip DVD to iPad.
Step 3: click "iPad Video Converter" on the main interface to convert video to iPad.

If all seems to have gone well, open iTunes and drag your new video onto your Library, simply sync your iPad with iTunes.
