How can you reply with a comment eg 'Well played' after your opponent has just resigned and sent a comment?

Hi Nigel.

Ok... I just made this update : Any updated public comment will be forwarded by email to your opponent, so that you can discuss after the game...

Good!

This partially resolves the "not being able to readily communicate with others" problem.

Hi Thibault Does the instruction make an 'updated public comment' mean go to the Forum section and type in a message. Presumably with the opponent's name in the 'Response' box? Please clarify. Many thanks Nigel

Hi Nigel.

I mean, using the "Public comment" text area at the bottom of the viewer / move page (the first page when you're to make a move).. There are 2 fields : "Personal notes" and "Public comment". The public comment appears to all and will be emailed to your opponent !

Best regards.

Thibault Many thanks. I now understand that when an opponent resigns and sends a comment that you cannot give a quick reply directly. You must go to an unrelated game and use the comments facilities there. Do you plan to make this process more intuitive in a future software upgrade? Nigel

Unrelated ?

Hello Nigel.

Why unrelated ? .. You can leave a comment in any of your finished game, through 'My tournaments' in example.

Another way is to change the game number in the url : user_page.php?page=viewer&game=1
