In the last week, just hours before the upgraded Runelite HD was due for an official release the 117 group was contacted by Jagex asking that the work stop and that the release should be pulled Buy RS Gold. However, this time it's not down to copyright rights, but rather because Jagex claims they're creating an own HD upgrade.
While it seems fair initially but there's a major issue. Runelite HD doesn't actually seem to violate any of Jagex's mod guidelines, and the company says new guidelines that spell out the fact Runelite HD does actually break its policies will be made public next week.
Mod creator 117 states that they tried to compromise with Jagex even offering to take down their mod after Jagex had completed their work with their work However "they did not accept it," seemingly spelling the end of a project that took "approximately two thousand hours of work for two years."
