This score does not reflect the initial half of a shellacking L.A. handed down en-route to a championship. After a quiet two series to begin the game by both teams, the Rams scored in a way that was quite controversial. When they faced a third-and-12 from the Cincinnati 34-yard line Matthew Stafford uncorked a deep ball to Van Jefferson on the left side of the end zone. Initially, the officials declared that Jefferson was out of the bounds of the ball, but a challenge by Sean McVay led to a reverse and the Rams going up, 7-0. In full-discretion it wasn't clear Jefferson received two feet within boundaries, but the officials in the virtual world felt differently upon further review (Maybe video games have become more realistic! ). The Bengals were able to respond to that touchdown drive from the Rams with a score of their own. Joe Burrow completed a pass to Tee Higgins to knot the game at seven but L.A. quickly matched that score with a drive down the field with Odell Beckham Jr. scoring a touchdown of 7 yards pass for a 14-7 score. It was at this point in the game that the Bengals were left out in the cold. The Cincinnati offense came out after the Beckham touchdown, and was at a third and 9 at their 24-yard line buy madden coins. After rolling out to his right side, Burrow was sacked to the left by Leonard Floyd and the football went off. | Become a fan |
