To summarise majors, they are excellent damage players with a huge amount of CC. They're adept at controlling the entire team of enemies. But you have to micromanage with majors, and especially your health.
They are extremely squishy in this expansion, and they possess a substantially higher level cap. TBC Mage Priest was one of the top players in the game and it's been able be shut down more easily than it was in the previous expansion. The squishier the mage, the better. I'm convinced that Frost is awe-inspiring, but they didn't have any of Cataclysm Classic Gold for sale that consistent damage, even if it was not as far as their burst abilities. I'm actually thinking it is the case that Arcade Fire has more burst potential than Frost.
