Blue River still has senior center Ally Madden (2022-01-06)
The last NFL year, New York Giants running back Nike player Saquon Barkley was given his own replica of Air Trainer 3. How did it feel to watch him pay homage to you by wearing the sneakers Madden 22 coins? I gave him the shoes. It was like me saying"Grasshopper! It's your moment to carry this torch. It's up to you to carry it well. I'm confident that Saquon will do an excellent job at it. Saquon is a great kid.
He reminds me of a bit of me. He's strong and has his head straight. That's the thing that impresses me the most. It's not the stats. I love the way the man carries himself. Everybody will have Bo Jackson. But when you reflect upon all the NFL running backs who've taken on you, which of them have the most resemblance to you?
I can only come up with two examples -The two I can think of are Saquon and Derrick Henry -- on the sheer strength, power and the ability to navigate between the field and defense. They do not necessarily have the speed I did. However, they've created a system that works for them. They're very effective in what they do. That's why they're often considered to be the top running backs at the moment.
As you reflect on your career, what's one play you made that you think could've been made in a video game? The only thing nobody talks about, except for Denver Broncos fans is when we were at Denver and I went through their defense like a hot knife through butter. I'm not bragging, but it's just the reality of the size that I was back then and how I was unable to run behind my pads.
So, you'd never catch me upright running when I didn't have someone 5 or 6 yards in front of me trying to pursue me. However, when I was in traffic, right in the thick of things it took me just one time to realize that running in the wrong direction is not good for your health buy madden coins. I'm not sure of the name of the gentleman but it was a linebacker in the Cardinals during their time in Phoenix.
