Where to Find the Faridun War Cache (Act 2)
The Faridun War Cache is located in the Mawdun Quarry, not the Mawdun Mine-an important distinction that can save you time and frustration.
General Location Tips
Because Path of Exile 2 maps are procedurally generated, the exact layout of Mawdun Quarry changes every time a new instance is created. This means there is no fixed minimap location for the cache. However, the cache always appears in the same type of location.
Here's how to find it consistently:
1. Enter Mawdun Quarry during Act 2
2. Choose a wall-left or right-and hug it closely
3. Continue following the map edge without cutting inward
Eventually, you'll find:
1. A bridge
2. A Checkpoint
3. A small camp on the other side of the bridge
Inside this small camp, next to a tent, you'll find the Faridun War Cache.
