| RuneScape is a painstaking battle of attrition (2022-08-24) Instead of RuneScape Gold being one continuous combat, RuneScape is a painstaking battle of attrition that's both long and grueling, and that never really ends. However, it's highly rewarding if you're prepared to dedicate the necessary time and effort into it, which is what I did. At the very least, for a whole year or so. I've never played many MMORPGs until now, to my regret and sorrow. Life's demands are a lot more intense and I just don't have time to let them suck me in. Out of all games, they're the most time-consuming, with endless levels to climb and items to acquire. Many have even died during or at the end of long-running sessions of the game's younger, but less popular sibling World of Warcraft, which I'm guessing also makes it an extremely scary game. On a typical day, I often find me gaming Quake as well as Half-Life or hanging out on Team Fortress 2 - games that are a force to behold, leave their mark and disappear quickly. It's wonderful to play games that I like and forget about rather quickly, as opposed to worrying about how many pieces of wood are in my possession or where I'm going to be fishing during the next session. In all honesty, I miss a lot of the grind and long-term commitment (and frustration) associated with RuneScape. In its third edition as 'RuneScape3' (from 2013) with added content and a graphical overhaul, there's a glimmer of hope I'll be able to go back to it and see how it's getting on, much as I would an old friend. Publisher Jagex has announced earlier in the year that RuneScape will be released from early access on mobile in the summer. From today, everyone can play this long-running MMORPG on OSRS Buy Gold iOS and Android. | Become a fan |
