Where is php.ini ?

On Linux servers, it may be hard for newcomers to find some configuration files such as php.ini (PHP configuration file) and httpd.conf (Apache configuration file)
On Redhat servers, the path usually is :
/usr/local/lib/php.ini
/usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf
On Gentoo servers, the path usually is :
/usr/local/lib/php4/php.ini
/usr/local/lib/php5/php.ini
/usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf
To stop & restart Apache after modifying these files :
/etc/init.d/httpd restartGood luck
